Dr. Zamaan Valani
Dr. Zamaan Valani received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors in Biology from the University of Alberta in 2020. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree at the New England College of Optometry as the Valedictorian of the class of 2024 before moving back home to Alberta shortly after graduation.
Dr. Valani was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and sports are a huge part of his life. He is a die-hard hockey fan rooting for his hometown Edmonton Oilers and enjoys playing hockey and pickle ball in his free time. His other joys include spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Valani values patient education taking the time to discuss ocular health in detail with each and every one of his patients. He has a passion for pediatric myopia control, managing ocular disease, fitting contact lenses and treating dry eye. Dr. Valani looks forward to welcoming new patients and ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors is treated like a member of the Lloyd Mall Eye Care family.
DR. Adam Rahemtulla
I go by Dr. Adam for simplicity sake. I completed my Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2015 and then moved back to Alberta. I have a passion for managing ocular disease and place the health of the eye at the utmost importance in an eye examination. I have an avid interest in sports and music and I actually used to DJ while I was in optometry school! I look forward to each interaction with my patients and hope to build a family atmosphere at Lloyd Mall Eye Care.
